Colby-Wan Kenobi Jedi Bunny

May the 4th calls for a tribute. Erin has a new bunny named Colby, so naturally he had to be inducted into the Jedi Order.

It's May the 4th. Big day for Star Wars fans. And Erin just got a new bunny named Colby.

You see where this is going.

Meet Colby-Wan Kenobi. Jedi Bunny. Master of the Lop Ear Form. Keeper of the salad bowl. Defender of the carpet from all dust bunnies of the dark side.

A brief, completely-made-up backstory:

Found as a kit on the outer rim of a Michigan backyard, young Colby showed an unusual aptitude for the Force. He could sense a pellet drop from three rooms away. He could levitate a piece of kale six inches before chewing it (proven, occasionally, when nobody is looking). The Council had no choice but to take him in.

His training has not been easy. The lightsaber is bigger than he is. The robes don't quite fit over the floppy ears. He has been known to abandon meditation halfway through to flop sideways on the floor for a nap, which the Council has decided is actually a very advanced Jedi technique.

His weakness, like all great Jedi, is attachment. Specifically, attachment to Erin, who is clearly the chosen one in this story.

May the Fourth be with him. May the salad be plentiful. And may every dark sock that disappears in this house from now on be quietly blamed on the Sith.

Welcome to the family, Colby.
